Robin attended Vauxhall College of Building (1987 – 1989), where he completed his City and Guilds in Tiling. For the next few years, Robin gained industry experience working with his older brother, where he spent time working on multiple tiling projects.
After that time, Robin went on to work for a firm in Barnet, in North London, where he honed his skills installing natural stone, as well as porcelain and ceramics, working on large and exclusive domestic properties.
In 2009, he joined a flooring company that had taken on the significant project of re-laying Carrara Marble to the main shop floor of the famous Selfridges department store, in Oxford Street. Requiring night work to a high standard, over a 2-year period.
After that period, Robin returned to the tiling firm in Barnet, before Covid hit. He then took the opportunity to spend a handful of years working for himself, as a domestic Tile Fixer, as well as undertaking specialist Large Format Panel work, before joining the ARDEX Group in November 2024.
